... Bank is a dragon that every ten minutes roars and breathes fire (real fire, you can feel the heat halfway down Diagon Alley!), and inside is the main ride of the area, Escape From Gringotts. Now, we ended up queueing for nearly an hour as the ride broke down, so we were pretty invested in it being worth the wait. It absolutely was. Astounding! It’s a rollercoaster combined with a 4D movie experience and animatronic effects, absolutely amazing!

other people just walked right by not even taking any notice of the items some
hundreds of years old lining the walls.

It was a busy few days and you definitely need to pace

Well, we did it. Today (Sunday) we rented a Cabana down by the quiet pool. It cost $100 dollars for four hours, and it was utterly ordinary. Basically it's a tent with four sunbeds, a ceiling fan (a ceiling fan?) a TV (a TV?), a fridge and two white shirted attendants who fuss around in an ineffectual way. Twelve sodas were included and the attendants went and got lunch, but we had to pay for that. Was it worth the money? No. Would I do it again? No.

Today was the day we have been waiting for...well, in addition to the end of the competition! This is the last day of competition before Grand World's, and so this is the day they compete Double Dutch Fusion or DDC. DDC is a big deal in France, Belgium, and Japan. The judge panels come from those countries ...

... and brekkie pizza, although I confess that I did tear up a little when Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and Donald came round to say hello and pose for photos. A little later a lady called Jessica came round and chatted to us, then asked us when we would like to come in, we could name the day and time, so we plumped for Wednesday, lets hope they are all ok by then. I thanked her until I had no breath left, then she said she would try and pull in ...
