... no better than any outside hotel.

If you cannot afford the top two levels of Disney hotels then in my opinion you would do better to stay off property and travel in by car. Yes, you will have to pay parking but you can get there under your own schedule as early as you like and leave when you like.

If you are staying off Disney property and including Universal parks in your plans then it might be worth spending ...

We started in Fantasyland where we had fast passes for both Dumbo and the Barnstormer. The kids, including Lincoln, enjoyed Dumbo. Riley really liked the Barnstormer. It is a small rollercoaster. Animal Kingdom today. Now that is a confusing set up... deep in the jungle... one must walk rather a ways to reach the scene of action from even the turnstiles. Punctuating along the way are small open spaces with birds and animals (anteater... he was was hiding!) and then it opens up to multi directional park space. Africa, Asia, Dino-land and Discovery Island.
We trekked about most of it. If memory serves, by the time we left ...

... parade went about 15 minutes and was fantastic and by the end everyone was soaked.

We then headed off towards Tomorrow land to the Starlight Cafe where we shared a Turkey Sandwich for lunch. We thought we might go back there for dinner. After that we went on the Mad Hatter's tea party ride wait time only 15 minutes. It had spinning cups on a rotating background - I wasn't sick. The gift shops in Tomorrow Land had lots of Star Wars stuff. We looked at ...
