... We arrived there at 8:30am, which was prefect timing to watch the opening show of the park. As soon as the gates opened at 9am, it started to rain. And I mean the soaking, Florida rain. So thankful for our awesome ponchos that friends recommended. As most of the rides were temporarily closed due to the rain, we got to experience a few awesome shows: Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, Mickey's PhilarMagic ...

There was also a few water rides, so I did them all together and may as well have jumped in a pool with my clothes on. It was very similar to Disneyland I visited in Japan but still amazing to see ...

... about 11am. It is a huge complex of shops built around walkways with a roof over them with a gap between the roof and the walls. We visited a maternity boutique and the Guess shop where they had really nice Guess watches for $69. Lots of kidsware shops where we bought some clothes for some small people. A Crocs shop where we didn't buy anything. We were in a watch and clock shop where there was this little kid running around the ...

... they would have just killed me and that I was lucky to be alive. Well that was certainly a wake up call and had a few decisions to make as to whether to stay out or come home or move somewhere else. In the end I took the actually very difficult decision of staying out there and not letting that experience be the lasting memory of the trip. This was helped by some really nice people - Claudia, Henry and Karenyna and an older Australian couple who were like parental figures in that time ...
