... We arrived there at 8:30am, which was prefect timing to watch the opening show of the park. As soon as the gates opened at 9am, it started to rain. And I mean the soaking, Florida rain. So thankful for our awesome ponchos that friends recommended. As most of the rides were temporarily closed due to the rain, we got to experience a few awesome shows: Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, Mickey's PhilarMagic ...

A Crocs shop where we didn't buy anything. We were in a watch and clock shop where there was this little kid running around the ...

Well that was certainly a wake up call and had a few decisions to make as to whether to stay out or come home or move somewhere else. In the end I took the actually very difficult decision of staying out there and not letting that experience be the lasting memory of the trip. This was helped by some really nice people - Claudia, Henry and Karenyna and an older Australian couple who were like parental figures in that time ...
