We spent the rest of the day in the World Showcase, John was going to try and drink his way round the world, but after some nice beers in Germany and the US we reached the UK, where we had decided to pitch up early for Illuminations, the only beer on offer was Harp, enough to put anyone off beer for good, so he nursed his last beer for a while and went back to coke. Meanwhile we grabbed a bench which would give us front row seats ...
... had their pictures taken with Sleeping Beauty and with topiaries around the park. The three brave ones where not so brave, and chose the green ride -- the calmer of the two. We entered a space capsule and participated in a space mission that is virtual reality. The G Force when the capsule takes off is similar to what they use to train astronauts. It was a thrilling ride.

... the airport at least 3 hour ahead of time. This also allows for any snafus that would delay any of us.
We arrive at the airport and see Paulie and JJ trying to check in. After check in we head to the gate. Jeremiah calls to let us know he is checking in and since the process was pretty fast we had some extra time to kill. We stopped into a restaurant and had some departure Margaritas . Let the fun begin
... home. We were all hungry and had no food in so we stopped at Papa John's Pizza for a takeout on the wy home and while it was cooking Matt popped into Publix next door for some doughnuts.
Duncan was asleep and we just popped him straight to bed when we got back at about 8.15 The rest of us had some pizza and doughnuts and then we were all off to bed by 9pm too. It was a long long (but enjoyable) day
... crowded - there was plenty of space in front of the station to watch as Mickey and about another 10 characters arrived.
Once the park was opened we set off at a good pace for "Enchanted tales with Belle" which is one of the attrctions in "new Fantasyland" which we thought might appeal to Lara. It's a strange attraction - you queue through Belle's house (from Beauty and the Beast) ...
