    Our day at the Point

... weather-wise so Cedar Point was remarkably quiet for a Halloweekend. It was chilly but bundled up, we were comfortable. We had lunch at the rib place so we could get a credit towards our $15 parking - it basically gave us $15 off our meal so it was a good deal. However Ashley was a little freaked out by the spooky decorations in the ...

We were able to catch a free bus to Universal which stops at lots of hotels, ours being one of them. Universal is split into two areas and HP is now at both. Today we went to Universal Island of Adventures which had Hogwarts School and Hogsmead, although these are at the end of a fairly long walk passing numerous other 'exhibits' along the way, all being part of the Universal Studios home of characters. We got up a bit later today and missed breakfast, so we had to go to ponderosa! Oh no : ) it was lovely - buffet breakfast, all you can eat and really cheap. We waited for the bus for ages though, we should have walked. We then went to aquatica. It was a really nice day. We got there about 12. We went on a few slides, water rapids and a lazy lagoon. There was also a large beach area with a wave pool. The whole park was really colourful . It was really ...

Today we were up early and headed to the rope drop of Disney's animal kingdom. Today's forecast was rainy with a chance of thunderstorms. I had brought ponchos from Walmart for 87c and thought they would do the trick- later I found out that I was wrong. First off we went to expedition Everest for Ryan and then headed to the safari. We both thought it was the best safari type ride we had ever been on, there were animals everywhere. At ...

    Day 13

A travel blog entry by kiriandalex on Sep 22, 2013

Well it was our last full day in Orlando today, so we've spent most of the day packing and getting ready to move on to Washington DC tomorrow! We went for our last swim in the pool this morning, and then for lunch at TGI's. Did some washing this afternoon and just finishing off packing our bags now. It was beautiful weather all morning but is now raining quite hard outside, so maybe we are leaving at just the right ...
