... had to go meet with someone to discuss her purchases. I was ushered out of what I would consider a waiting area to where I was able to use a restroom and then patiently wait for Kathy's business to conclude. She finally appeared, and we called the hotel to confirm the shuttle pickup, which was on its way, and with our bags in tow, we boarded the shuttle to the hotel, arriving about 8:30am, and with no plans for the day. ... Beverley Hills, Santa Monica, Sunset Strip, Hollywood Walk of Fame and other popular tourist destinations. We jumped off at Santa Monica and went for a walk along the Pier and grabbed some lunch. ... they like the LA Dodgers. Keeping an eye on the budget and we seem on track. Poor old Rob got blisters on her feet, which made it very uncomfortable for her. But we found a fist aid station so we were good to go. Universal Studios sit high on top of hill and the views of the mountains is terrific. ... we sat 2 rows behind these. It was quite good, again with great special effects and actors from different TV shows & movies, like Transformers.This was where we had centre seating because of the Front of Line Pass.
We walked through the House of Horrors, showcasing many of the studios monsters of the past. It was pretty dark & there were actors who gave us many a surprising shock ... or shocking surprise. The bits of cotton hanging down in places ...
