... up the big hill for views.
Not one museum. (I'm not really a fan of them anyway. Time-suckers).

We were great in Bariloche - we went to Cerro Otto which we skipped last time and also re-visited Cerro Campanario and hiked it both ways - because we forgot to bring money for the chair lifts! We couldn't even buy a beer with the empanadas.

Immediately Nick wants to dive in and lease a new car. Impreza 5 door or Honda Fit? Really tough decision.

    Driving, Day One!

A travel blog entry by dreamkeepr18 on Mar 05, 2015

I enjoyed driving through Wisconsin over hitting Illinois and the multiple tolls. I took 94 out past Madison, then went south. Saw adverts for House on the Rock and Cave of the Mounds. :( No more for me.

I turned southwest and suddenly hit Dubuque! I had previously been there with my family maybe more than five years ago? It looked familiar, saw the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium (which was really quite cool), and the ...

I debated that perhaps some people would let us change seats. I implored Nick to call the customer service. He got an automaton who ...

    Campaign Boost From Deer Creek

A travel blog entry by sidforsenate on Feb 13, 2014

The lovely Deer Creek neighborhood in northwest Omaha was the setting for a very nice campaign event on my behalf.

It was hosted by Linda and Jon Roeder.

Even though a political campaign is very serious business, it has been such a joy to connect with so many Nebraskans because of the hospitality and support of people like the Roeders.

    Thank you, friends!
