    I took the day off, as I had to go over to the dark side. Office Depot first and then Titus Will in Tacoma to get the 25,000 mile service on my car. Meanwhile, Homer came with his bobcat and put in the drain ditch around the building (front and sides), and then he and Mr G got the 2 x 4 support boards for the siding in.     ... our dirtiest hotel yet with our Jack and Cokes and shrimp broccoli, chicken friend rice, and veggie egg rolls. We both exhaled reflecting that we thought we handled the day pretty well together and things could have been much worse. So, all in all, I am still enamored and am thankful for the fabulous company I keep.

    ... 4th. Started picking out which tour I wanted to do, the company I wanted to trust my life with and so on. However, there was going to be a kink in my plans.     ... Since I have been here it has been between 38 and 58 almost ever day. Colder when I first got here, a few warmer days. I questioned my recruiter about why my apartment didn't have air conditioning. but turns out this is a non-issure. I run the heat every day. usually in the morning when I get home and when I get up from sleeping. I don't have a forced air heater. I basically have a centrally controlled wall heater.
