    Well good morning everyone happy Friday the 13th and a nice honey full moon too! I'm not a superstitious person so I'm hoping this is good news for the day! Woke up to rain :-( I would dearly love to see some summer sunshine, the waters was supposed to be calm today but. not sure that will be the case as the flags are blowing pretty good out there.

    The plan was to make our way to Newport and stay until Monday we will ...

    I'm nearly done with all my packing and never have I carried so much weight. Both in my luggage and on my person and I suppose in my person too. I was 7 pounds overweight. Airline overweight.

    To the right you hear the endless popping of guns fired. To the left, some say if you get close enough, it's the smell of bodies. In between, tranquil homes, shops for art and antiques and numerous sea food restaurants, some similarly named Shrimp Box, Lobster Box and Fish box.

    On a cloudless, 70 degree day, ventured out to City Island up in the Bronx yesterday with Beth and her boyfriend Mike. I had never heard of it until Beth's proposal, but it's referred to as at the ...

    Day 343 ;

    Just a lazy morning today, no rush and only went out just to the shops near us to get a pair of shoes we'd seen and later to go get a haircut in a proper bonafide barber shop!! Wasn't all that easy seeing as they only really spoke spanish, but one understood enough to tell the other, did a proper good job though as you expect. It was the whole thing, small narrow shop, 5 chairs, five barbers all in the red shirts all with super neat ...
