    Monday 5th : Took a ride on the subway to Battery point and caught the ferry to the Statue of Liberty for a close up look. Then on to Ellis Island. The statistics are amazing it's hard to believe so many people came through that facility it really doesn't look big enough.     ... you, give you a safety video of what to do in case the helicopter comes to a sudden stop ( I suppose hitting the ground from a 1000 feet is always going to be a sudden stop) and they take your photo before getting into the helicopter.     ... I did not mess around with it, keeping to 1 luggage per person and we got 23 kg each, which was almost used up with all our winter clothing. LAX had no great food to purchase and my foot was killing at that time, thanks to the Grand Canyon hike and my stupid high wedge shoes bought in Korea.
