Day 8 of 49 (Sep 14). It got COLD last night!! Heard on the radio that it dropped into the 50's during the night in Pensacola and that probably explains why the thermometer read 64 degrees inside the RV when I got up this morning. Wendell said I was trying to freeze him. I asked, "Exactly, what did I have to do with it?" "Well, you probably had the fan on or the AC." Not guilty.

... Our plan was, and always had been to visit the Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church, where Martin Luther King was a Pastor for five years. We had arranged a tour at ten but had to drive because we were 10 miles from downtown Montgomery. This driving was becoming all to easy now and the 'girlfriend' was behaving admirably, as we set off to find a parking space near to the church.
