... offer professional development classes which is what I want. If I am going to be living in another country, I would like to be with a company that values my learning their culture since I am teaching about my own culture and a company that values my development as a teacher! In the end, I got what I really wanted and I cannot wait to be in Beijing!! I know that this will be a great experience for me and soon, I will be in Beijing, teaching and learning Chinese.

... during the Viet Nam War, and Carmen was raised in Indonesia, our Asian experiences became a fast link in our friendship. During one of our first get-togethers, I remarked that I would like to see Bali and Lombok, and she asked if I had ever thought about Sri Lanka.
