Well, the semester of student teaching is over, and with it comes the true end of my formal education at Luther College. And with the end of school should come summer, so I find it only fitting to hop over to the southern hemisphere and find a few months of summer. New Zealand here I come.

Can't even begin to tell all we saw and all we did during our week in Spain and our week in England! Right now, we're focused on unpacking, doing laundry, and trying to get rid of the colds (and now, headaches) we came back with.

Planning to go to see the Minneapolis Wild , an Ice Hockey team after a nice man at the hotel said it would be an awesome experience.
Finally, its Presidents Day tomorrow which is like a bank holiday and lots of things are closed. However hopefully isnt so bad that we can go and visit a school to meet some teachers and children.
... mistake of assuming that my stay in the US would be a time of relaxation. Between catching up with everyone and studying for my exams, I've been constantly on the go. Oh well. It's been a wonderful break thus far, and I plan on making the most of this final week.
