    ... we will usually change our route to incorporate it. Always been worth it so far. Some of the houses along Lake Michigan were so large and opulent - mansions. Along the beaches, there were lots of people taking advantage of the good weather. The water in Lake Michigan is very very cold though we did see a few people swimming.     ... and Hofbrau Delikator (double bock). I had a glass of Riesling. Larry had a German Bratwurst on a Pretzel Roll with sauerkraut. Derek and I shared the Wurst Platter which had three kinds of sausage, red cabbage, sauerkraut, German potato salad and we added a side of spatzle. All three of us shared a home made apple streudel. It was the perfect ending to a very good meal. We walked back to the hotel, blogged, watched TV, checked email and went to bed.
