A sultry, overcast morning in downtown Miami as we convene for breakfast in the hotel restaurant. An uneventful flight brought us in at 5.30 pm yesterday, and getting through immigration and customs was less of a hassle than we expected, although for some reason ...

So we went down to the beach, found out how cold the water was and gave the swim a miss :( we then started driving down to Miami - we wanted to drive along the beach which we started doing but realised that this was quite slow, and you couldn't see much of the beach anyway. So we ...

Yay for more free brekky. Frida and I decided to go to downtown this morning. She wanted to see the buildings and the water front, and despite already seeing it all about this time last year, I had some time to kill before my afternoon flight. We caught the bus to downtown Miami, and walked through town. It is a far bigger city than I remember. There are buildings everywhere.

We strolled along the river past all of the big ...
