After our nice experience with the car rental people, we got hosed by the taxi people, $31 to get from the airport to the hotel. Capitalist swine! At the hotel we were informed that they had a shuttle we could have used for considerably less. That's ok, we made good use of the service later.

Gracelands was not as big as I expected, but it was great to see Elvis' beloved home. It was quite moving standing by his graveside. I could have spent all day in the souvenir shop, so many things to buy. I can tick visiting Gracelands off my bucket list, but over the last couple of months my bucke list has grown, I think I'll have to live until I'm three hundred to do it ...
