I was really excited to see Beale Street, home of the blues, and I wasn't disappointed. The entire time we've been in Memphis, Marc Cohn's song "Walkin' in Memphis" has been running through my head, and I found myself humming it as I strolled down this street with Cindy, Chris and Steph. The street was just what I expected it ...

I'm immediately put off because as Jock informs me there's no boot space due to that's where they stick the roof for a convertible. So full sized cases stacked in the back seat make it look like you're caddying for a ladies foursome. That's a golfing term for those of you who just think I'm rude all the time. We had some navigation issues, mainly in that Jock is a complete retard ...

After nice lay in, my day started around 7.30am. I woke up very hot and sticky after a humid night, the humidity was 80%. After breakfast we set of around 9 am for whistle stop tour of Memphis. We headed off for the hotel Pea body, where there is the march of the world famous ducks. This was surreal and strange experience and my (only in America phrase) was well used in the hour or so that passed. Although the ...
