About half of the group went on the Graceland tour. The ticket booth opened at 10:00. Already a long line when we got there at 10:15; 45-minute wait before we could get in line for the shuttle. A high school choir from Kissimmee, Florida, was singing in the patio area so we listened to them for a while; really good.

The house was home to Elvis, his then wife, of course his daughter and his Mum, Dad and Grandmother. I was not aware that Elvis was so generous. Not only towards his family, but to others. There is one display, which shows numerous amounts of cheques written and signed by Elvis to charities.
