    ... of staying up all night in order to get a jump start on the time change. Bangkok is exactly 12 hours ahead of US Central time so with Kate coming off of night shifts, she's already on SE Asian time!

    Our flight leaves LA on Sunday at 1:45 with a quick layover at the Tokyo airport. We will arrive in Bangkok at 11:25pm (or 11:25am WI time) on Monday August 11th.

    ... a puff of air was sent through tubes to all 167 other clocks to make them move ahead one minute. So they only had to set this one clock and all the others would be in synch.

    50th Reunion Picnic

    Sunday morning The Girlfriends left to go to their respective homes. Sue and I picked up Armando and went to the class reunion picnic. Again we had a good turnout and perfect weather.







    At the end of the picnic, I went with Armando back to my brother's house and we'll be here playing tourist for the rest of the week.

    First day on the road started out with me waking up to the thought of eight hours in an RV with squeaks, bumps, bangs and some mysterious unidentified sounds unknown to human kind (never know what kind of sounds you will find in an old rented RV).
