    ... Diego. Perfect plan, allowing heaps of time between. Didn't anticipate the fly away shuttle being an hour late effectively setting me back a lot. I missed a free breakfast, the 830 train and had to wait at the airport outside in the cold for over an hour. Up yours fly away pricks. Not even an apology when the lady rocked up.     ... route was very different to yesterday on the Big Sur and was less green and actually more barren. Highway 1 ploughed a route directly along the coast and clearly the construction engineers had fun blasting away the mountains. The photos haven't captured it well bit there was often a tiny strip of beach and there would be RVs (camper vans) lined up along it in their dozens with the occupants out surfing.
