... eggs and bacon combo! As always, we were amazed at the servings!
After our 'brunch' we headed off to Disneyland and California Adventure Park for the day. As it was a weekend, there were far more people than the other days we had ventured to the parks. We started off at Disneyland and went back on all of our favourite rides; Star Tours (again, with a different 'story line' than all our other rides on this simulator), Space Mountain and Toy Story ride where Jordan out ...

... Poor Jordan got soaked through! Was fun and wet! Haha!

Walking through the park (trying to get dry!), we came across another ride called Soarin' Over California. This ride you were put into three lanes and then the chairs lifted up and moved over what was some kind of drop. Our darlings darted and weaved to get to the front and we were second in line to meet and greet Mickey (go kids... Yay) and had some great photos with him. We went on the little roller coaster again and played around on Donald Ducks boat and climbed Chip n Dales tree house. We then went back through FantasyLand to cover all the rides we hadn't been ...

... empty nesters from Belmont. Their son races motorbikes so they know Maitland well. So many Aussies here at the moment, school holidays and all. Everytime you talk to one their accent sounds quite broad. Sometimes I even think, "Crikey mate, is that how I sound when I talk?" Sat with some Melbournites on the Australia's Wonderland style rapids ride and he was having a joke with the attendant. She did not appreciate nor understand his humour. It ...

... tired by this time. Another short line – hurray!

We were hoping that the short lines would last the rest of the night. But, alas, it was not to be. After the fireworks ended the lines expanded. By 11:00 Space Mountain had a 50 minute line. Autopia went from 5 minutes to 25 minutes. Oh well, now we know.

Time to head back to the Grand Californian for a good night’s sleep!

    Tomorrow: Another Disney ...
