We hopped on a bus tour today to see the sights of LA. We got picked up two streets from our hotel at 9.10am and immediately met up with a young couple from Hawthorn. It was nice to hear some Aussie accents. It was interesting though to find out that people on tours don't really want to talk to each other - unlike in the movies. Under the Sea!
That's what it was all about today. But forget Ariel and Flounder. We're over everything Disney. Today was about getting wet and having close encounters with the all sorts of sea life.

After a long drive south, with endless stretches of beach, we arrived at a refreshingly empty theme park. Today's objective: stay cool and have fun. It wasn't too hard.

... any essentials.) Chas looked up the movies available on the plane - lots of good stuff. The flight is 16 hours and Frank has a jet lag theory that we should stay awake until a normal bedtime in Australia. So, we're all going to try to stay awake until it's 11:00 pm in Melbourne before we sleep on the plane ... about 7 hours into the flight (like THAT'S gonna ...
