... that overlooks the floats being worked upon. What a hubbub of activity! People climbing on scaffolding, long tables of workers wielding containers of glue and boxes of flower heads. All of the floats are decorated mostly by volunteers. It was wonderful to see.
After visiting the Rose Palace we hopped back in the car and headed for the Rose Bowl football stadium as the other two decorating venues are close by each other and the stadium.

I was assigned room 1032, an ocean view room. The decor is the same as it was in 2012, when they were in the process of updating the rooms (so if you had an updated room back then, as I did, you will be familiar with the furniture). ... Nomes on the other hand wasn't so lucky, and was sitting right next to the raft's exit. She got wet. Very wet! Just as well it was a hot day! We went on California Screamin' to dry off! We loved it so much, we had to return for another go later on.

Kate, mum and I returned to city walk after dinner and stocked up on our lolly supplies at Sugar. Think humungous boxes of Nerds, huge gum balls amongst the both weird and wonderful paraphernalia lolly bikinis and metre tall gummy bears! We leave for Seattle tomorrow and then off to cruise Alaska!
