Today started with breakfast at the hotel then off to the other side of the harbour to take some photos of the Queen Mary. Quite impressive really.
Next stop was the Hollywood sign, looks just like all the photos we had seen. Great views from upon the hill. While we were up the hill we also looked at the observatory. On the way down the hill we saw a film crew and they had covered the front yard of a home in fake snow ...
... funny pictures and it was really good and they had lots of proof which added to the photos which London didn't have when we went. We then trawled along the walk of fame so dad could have a picture with John Wayne's star and then headed for a pizza tea. ... large trunk to fit the luggage of two people. I am glad we didn't book the SUV; I would have felt so tiny, lol, and maybe more nervous to drive such a huge thing. Though it's all about habits I guess, and of course the road and parking spots are in same proportion as the vehicles. It would probably be a lot smoother to handle, then driving/parking a SUV back in Europe.
