      ... don't even live in Beverly Hills, many live in Malibu apparently.

      We drove up Mullholland Drive to the Summit to see the Hollywood sign and the city. We didn't get any views of the city as the smog was pretty thick.       ... friend from high school.

      "So I got on my bike and came here. Took me 2 months."

      "I'd promised my 16 year old daughter a car, but I had to borrow money to bury my son, so now she's not happy with me either."

      On Landing in LA at 1100 going through customs the lines were long and inferesfingly the customs officer madeit clear budget cuts were the cause of the long lines.I was met by Wayne in the hire car , a welcome relief as it had been a challenging 48 hours of little sleep and much stress as I had missed the flight on the 7th due to the Jetstar cancellation of the Bali to Sydney flight meaning I had to purchase another flight to LA .       ... quite amazing to see iconic Disney in the real – I had to keep pinching myself. We loved seeing the fireworks with the castle in the foreground (much better than the camper!) All the rides were pretty cool and we only lost the kids once (they got stuck on Autotopia when the car in front went off the track and had to walk for about 10 minutes to get out – meanwhile we were freaking out!!)
