... purchased and we wrapped them around our necks to stay warm. We were in line for over an hour, sat another 30-45 minutes waiting for the taping to start and then the show concluded at around 9:30. We were told to expect to be there for about another hour. So, with the multi takes and script changes (they will often try a line different ways or improvise the line and then see which looks better in editing) I guess we did pretty good.

... so we didn't spend really that much time over there... an hour maybe. We drove straight to the top, to the Griffith Observatory, but I had the impression that there were a lot more side routes for hikers.
You have a really nice view over the city up at the hill, though you could see less far then I had thought/hoped. There seemed to be some kind of fog or smog, not sure how to call it. But still a very nice area to walk around and ...
