The studio tour was quite good, as our tour guide told us the most important thing to know is that "everything is fake" - brick walls are not brick, two storey houses are only one storey inside and in any TV show the back of a house and the front of the same house on set are probably 2 different people's houses in the show. We got to go on the set of the Big Bang Theory (they weren't filming that day) and see lot's of Batman ...

We entered a palm tree lined driveway before leaving the car at the valet and following the group up into the stand to find a good viewpoint. There were Navy ships and the oldest Aircraft Carrier USS Midway dating back to Vietnam recently made a museum. We saw a submarine also and other buildings owned by Defence. ...

Lots and lots of glamour real estate on coast line that is sometimes barren, some times beautiful, but all of it spectacular. The obvious wealth that is in the part of the world is hard to fathom. On top of that the steady stream of million dollar cars on the road because of ...

... anymore! Luckily the old guy drinking whiskey from a brown paper bag turned out to be very knowledgeable in the use of the machines and we got everything sorted.

We'd also wanted to get to a homeless shelter to donate all the warm clothes we wouldn't need anymore but luckily Salim took them for us.

Finally recovered, we could get on with seeing LA. We borrowed a couple of bikes from Kiki and Salim to head down to the beach. The bikes ...
