Please forgive yet another "Potter" reference, but it just was too apt to ignore. Much like Hermoine's small beaded bag -- which also held dozens of books, a three-room tent, and a large framed portrait, among other necessities -- my little car, when it was finally finished with its trip, disgorged a prodigious quantity of stuff. We got into Emeryville at 3ish we were an hour early. Emeryville is east of San Francisco on the opposite side of the bay. After collecting our bags we found a taxi which took us to Olga and Angel's home, at Oakland a lovely home with a lovely shower, it was sooo nice to change clothes.

We went to a really cool festival in Livermore, had pedicures and manicures in town then played in the water fountains.
On Sunday, we went to the church a block away and it was so cool since the church was so welcoming and gave us a cool cup with candy! Wow, so fun ...
Airports can be frustrating. I might have awoken my last morning in Europe wishing I didn't not have to leave, but a few minutes at the airport and all I wanted was to get home.
