... Houston is very bad on Saturday. I’d hate to see it during the week. Well, the Galleria Mall parking is all in parking decks with a maximum height of 8’6". We’re too big so we just got back on I-610 and came home. I guess people only drive their cars to the Galleria. Jim did a great job driving, but I was having a nervous breakdown. I just couldn’t live in a city this big with this much traffic. ...

... anxiously waiting at gate C-45 in IAH (Houston International Airport) for my flight back down to Quito, the capital city of Ecuador. Forgive me if this seems ill contrived or absent the appropriate gusto, IAH now charges $7.95 for 24 hours of internet use, so I opted to go with my phone's wifi instead. I don't expect much rest in the near future- both today and tomorrow are largely devoted to traveling, today it's planes and airports ...

... find me a hotel and that for what she was hearing from a friend in the terminal in Houston that flights out were in short supply but that long lines, stranded passengers and frustration were all in abundance and that people were stuck. I also received an email that my flight to LAX had been delayed and I was rescheduled to arrive in LAX on Tuesday (two days later). One family of three FSU fans behind me were discussing which was the fastest of the group as they could run and ...
