    ... I don't think we'll have enough room. I haven't been camping since my sleep-away camp days, and I'm looking forward to it even though with the recent inventions of things like smart phones and iPads and such, I'm sure camping will be a lot different than back in the day.

    All I need is a duffel bag for my clothes, though Justin seems to think I'll pack my entire wardrobe and I'll make the bag too heavy... ...

    ... of you who don't know this is the astronauts' pool. Since a tour had left right before we got there we had an hour to wait so we walked around the Astronaut Gallery which is the world's most comprehensive collection of spacesuits. Here again the changes in technology, fabrics, communications, etc was evident. It is hard to imagine being able to DO anything in those suits ...which leads us back to the Neutral Buoyancy Lab. This tour was not on one of the little open ...

    ... a tour of the Houston Astro´s baseball stadium and caught a game (Houston Astro´s against Chicago White Sox´s) - Houston lost!

    Texas is a huge state and we only saw Houston which is not the cowboy country you associate with Texas. However, all in all, our time here was short but enjoyable and a place that we would definately like to re-visit!

    Flights from Baltimore to Charlotte and then on to Houston.

    We checked into our Hotel, the Double Tree Inn and then made our way to the George R Brown Convention Centre for the look at the Quilt Convention facilities

    Excitement is mounting.

    We Registered, picked up our Convention Bags, pins etc. checked where we needed to be and when for our upcoming classes.
