... and pampering by the super-friendly staff. Both of the pedicurists had been on this cruise before and had nothing but rave reviews.

After our toes were dealt with, it was lunch time so we schlepped our luggage over to Lone Star Tacos, just across the street. The breakfast taco and barbacoa beef taco were muy deliciosa.

A quick check with Uber let us know that there were a couple of drivers in the area, so Annette did something on her ...

... Houston is very bad on Saturday. I’d hate to see it during the week. Well, the Galleria Mall parking is all in parking decks with a maximum height of 8’6". First night at Nicola's in Sugar Land, on the outskirts of Houston, last night. Hayley and I are sharing a bed for the first time this trip and man alive, that girl has learnt to snore since we shared last! I’m quite impressed that such a lot of noise can come out of such a little person. I didn’t sleep great, not so much because of the snoring, but because after two hours of being asleep she decided to claim the entire ...

Something went awry last night as when we woke up the house was freezing. Had I put a bit more thought in before going to bed I might have noticed that it wasn't just the lamp by my bed that had stopped working, but all the power outlets in both my room and Hayley and Ruth’s. Still no idea why or how this happened, but was not sorry to get up and out the house into the sunshine asap! Hayley as always on travelling days ...
