I've also contacted our cat sitter, who we previously used, when we got married in NJ, and she's available and willing to watch our fur babies for a month.

... but everyone we met was super friendly. When your outside the cities it really lives up to the stereotype: cowboy hats, leather boots, plaid shirts. The food was great but thank god for Mexican or I probably would have starved!. I ordered chilli cheese fries thinking it sounds vegetarian friendly only to discover a healthy spattering of beef on top.
