... turned quite cool late afternoon so it was lovely to get home after a very tiring day. Sadly Today was our last day with Brendan and Vanessa and we ended the weekend with another incredible meal at one of their favourite restaurants, Piccino. A very modern Italian menu but delicious nonetheless. Greig and I shared a salad and pulled pork pasta dish. Oh, and we enjoyed a beautiful bottle or two of red; made with grapes I had ...

It's beginning to feel a little like Christmas…Yes, even here in China. The big change this week has been the drop in temperature. We had 3 rainy days and the thermometer plummeted to 12 at night and mid-teens during the day. That’s not cold, you scoff! Soon after we checked ...

... want to try getting a passport or even going out of State and see what it’s like to drive on a road you don’t know!

I braved San Francisco again on my final day to meet up with an old neighbourhood friend from Greenwich who I knew lived in the city. It was a blast from the past and you start to wonder whether its weirder seeing someone again you’ve not seen for countless years or seeing someone you know in a place you ...

... Beserkly, which is not as beserk as it once was. I recommend the red velvet hash. Rick and Ann are no longer a couple, I hear from my sources. Rick got the restaurant and Ann got the catering biz, or the other way around. The name of the place should probably change, unless they met Rick2 or Ann2. Chris looks great and funny, is funny, not looks funny, and we caught up on all the artsy stuff she and lighting designer, director ...
