    ... it. This meant I went through a minimal security screening: no removing shoes or full body scan. You guessed it my ticket today was the same. Geoff is starting to think they are picking on him. When leaving Canberra he had the full body sweep for explosives, a full body scan in Sydney and now the full treatment at SFO airport.     ... became even more abundant on the golden sands. It appeared that folk could drive onto the beach as various tracks bore into the sand and security trucks drove along the perimeter. There seemed to be endless amounts of activity, whether it be water sports or street entertainment. It was like entering a circus, for the amount of strange humans was beyond reason.

    Check in was easy and we board our plane to our first and only connection in LAX which then goes directly to Heathrow, London. The LAX trip goes smoothly but there is substantial confusion on finding and checking into our LAX to Heathrow flight.
