      ... band was brilliant. They also had guest performers- Jerry Douglas (slide guitar) and Taj Mahal. Not sure how they perform to such an obnoxious crowd, but they are stellar and we enjoy them enormously. Paul is a happy camper and I am so pleased that he has finally managed to catch at least one of the acts he had hoped to see whilst we we here.       ... and then made my way back to Penn Station via the E train for the 6pm Acela back to Boston. The train was delayed due to the regional train before it running late.

      As usual I had a fabulous time in New York revisiting old favorite sites and discovering new ones. I always have more things on my list to do than I have time for—next time maybe I’ll do the Central Park at night bike tour, visit Coney Island or go to the New York Historical Society.

      ... each to fast track the already 2 hour line, got to the line to go through to the Sky Ride and simulator ride with information about Manhattan and surrounding areas. Proceeded in queue to Floor 86 (1st lift ride to the 40th floor, then queue again for 2nd ride to 86th floor, once on top you greeted with great views of City and surrounding areas.
