    An eventful day today with lovely clear skies but it was rather chilly! Kids now contributing to the photograph submissions!     ... the High Line. This is a one mile stretch of old railway line that has been repurposed as an urban park. Inspired by a similar project in Paris, this track alone attracts over 1 million visitors each year.

    After exploring the West side we headed over to Brooklyn for New Yorks best pizza at Grimaldi’s.

    I took a walk around Hoboken in the morning partly to see the sights but also to get a haircut and print my ticket at the library. Before I got going I stopped by my car and had a pleasant surprise. Apparently when taking things out of my car yesterday I dropped a small notebook that I have been tracking expenses in.     ... learned that two conjoined pieces of steel beam from the infrastructure of the towers fell to the ground and landed upright in the shape of a crucifix. Even as an atheist I think that's pretty freaky!

    We saw many artefacts. Too many to talk about here, but I'll mention a few more. We saw a Rheingold beer can, which was one of hundreds recovered. These beers cans are from the 70s when the World Trade Centre was built. They were drank by the construction workers ...
