    ... gave Telus too much money to have access to 1 GB of data while in the States so I am making good use of it. It is now 5 pm, pacific time on Tuesday. I know it's Tuesday because the elevators say so. Every day, they change the day plate on the floor of the elevators to remind people what day this is.     Time to leave San Francisco and head to Palo Alto for the weekend. We enjoyed being in Marina, it was a nice house in a good location.     ... yet, so we were trudging through at least 6 inches of powdery snow. The tour was led by a docent who had previously worked at the plant for 40 years - his dad worked there and now his son works there, which he said is common for families. He noted that you do need to have trained skills to work there these days, but - no offence to workers - some looked as bright as a button with not much else going on upstairs!
