Today again we were woken at 5.05am by a noisy fool who likes to wake up really early, after this I couldn't get back to sleep. Breakfast had a slight variation of a banana and porridge today. We headed down to over 33 for 10.15ish to catch a boat to Alcatraz, known as The Rock!! This was amazing, we picked up audio tours which told us about the cells, escape attempts and showed us around the recreation grounds. We stopped in the dining hall to write a message on a post card to a ...

We spent one day half-relaxing before going to Andy's rooftop birthday party (Andy is the google ventures employee who was in disco chateau). The party was a nice welcome back and reunion with our burning man friends. We met a couple new people, got invited to dinner, and went home at 2 (much later than expected). Ryan and Desiree invited us to stay out all night with them, but we still ...

... zombies while driving a car. I came 5th out of 15 players I won't say where Carla came, but let me say this. If the zombie apocalypse does ever come......don't give Carla a gun. Next on the agenda was a stop off at the San Francisco aquarium. I have to say this was nowhere near as impressive as the Cape Town aquarium but was non the less memorable for 2 things. The first was the petting aquarium where they housed some small baby sharks and stingrays which you were ...
