... there was a grandma sitting at the counter. I didn’t get it.
We pass an ice cream store and I get a scoop of butter pecan ice cream and I ask for a LITTLE chocolate sauce. The lady drowns my scoop in a chocolate river and Hinesh tips out the excess sauce. But too late, she’s killed the flavor for me. I sook at the wasted ice cream.
We decide to cook dinner for Beejal and Arun since the guys have been working all day. We stop ...

It ended up taking us 12 hours to make the "short" 8 hour drive. So much for our plans to get home early!
So this is the final detailed budget tally. Turned out to be a pretty low-cost vacation - especially since we did many "bucket list" activities that are typically super expensive.
... made it to our cabin! We were so excited to walk in. The place was beautiful. The photos really don't do the place justice. Very nicely decorated with leather recliner couches and deeply cushioned lounge chairs on the deck. 5 bedrooms on 3 levels meant we had plenty of room to spread out. And they they were pet friendly and welcomed Dim Sum ($30 pet fee).Check out the video we made when we first entered the cabin.
... but even 3 hours of practice provides quite a few learning opportunities.
Forging is quite a bit of fun, and like most things, more difficult than it appears to be, but Anna showed me how easy it is to make a simple forge, and with only that, a hammer, and an anvil, anybody could teach themselves eventually. Even so, I'd much rather learn from professionals than attempt such a task. Still, loads of fun, and I've grown a few more calluses from it besides.
... special members only cup which they get free refills for. So I bought a cup of my own and whenever I wanted a refill Andy would go a get the two refills, we'd then poor one of the drinks into my cup and then another person would get the other cup refilled. So I managed to get three gallons of Mountain Dew for the price of one.
The final visit on the zoo trip was the 'Penguinairium' or as it has been renamed ...
