Day 8: The Long Drive Home
At this point we split with the Lys since we wanted to get an earlier start and they wanted to sleep in. When we said goodbye, they were just starting to get up and eat some breakfast.

The cabin is close to the park - but the other side of the park. 20 mins to one entrance at Fontana Dam, 20 mins to the entrance at Deep Creek (tubing), about 45 mins to the other entrance at Oconoluftee. BUT took us 2.5 hrs to get from cabin to the Gatlinburg entrance. ...

Today Sharon took me on a tour of Windsor - I also saw Detroit - Windsor needs to be more like Detroit. First, let me tell you, down town Windsor is small, much smaller than I had expected. The largest building is a CIBC building and its may be 10 stories. There's some Chrysler building right next to it ... also 10 ten stories ... not impressed.
