        ... br> The large front window on the RV certainly collects the bug guts, though, had to thoroughly scrub it down twice to get rid of them!

        On the whole St. Louis is a great town to visit (not sure its worth the time to ride to the top of the Arch though). In addition if you have the time make a stop over into St. Charles as well--a very interesting small town in its own right.

        Saturday night we went to Greektown. First, we rode the People Mover around twice. That was fun, but the kids thought of it as monkey bars. Then, we went to eat at the New Parthenon restaurant, and had to get the Saganaki Opa - flaming cheese. We went back to the hotel so the kids could use the pool. I was very dismayed to discover that they had NO HOT TUB. I guess I should have checked. I just ASSUMED that they would have one, since they had a pool. I definitely won't make that mistake ...

        ... that to say, I've been to Detroit, but not really.

        It was in Detroit, however, that I have begun to realize how much more fun it is to do things with my wife and kids instead of by myself. Sure, going to the grocery store is easier without my wife (she can effortlessly spend 90 minutes in the Wal-Mart getting 45 minutes worth of groceries) and getting an ill-advised but sweet, sweet soda from the gas station is faster ...
