... the Camera Club of Tucson in Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge to photograph the Sandhill Cranes and real snow birds. This will be our fourth year of visiting the Bosque the week after Thanksgiving and weather forecast, at least for the weekend is for temps in 60's.

However, we know from experience, that the weather can turn quickly so we will monitor the patterns to see when we need to make our exit to Tucson.

After a grueling five days of driving, it was time to find a nice campground and hang out for a few days. My plan was to stay at the state park on the beach near Destin. But the polar vortex spoiled things, so I found an RV park near Pensacola instead. We then drove into Fort Walton Beach looking for what they call their historical district, but never found what we would want to get out and ...

We woke up early to enjoy the beach and hoped to see dolphins but no luck. The beach was stunning though. We had breakfast and packed up to leave. They gave us a CD on check out from the Inn of romantic beach music! Such a nice touch. I was sad to leave. It was so nice there.

We ended up with a 7 hour drive plus the hour that ...

Woke up to the sound of thunder which is unusual for the morning but I do love storms. It was lightning late into the night which we could see nicely from our balcony and from our bed. I fell asleep to it. But there was no thunder…until this morning. We went to breakfast which was included and fabulous. All fresh food and chefs preparing eggs/omelets and cute little baby waffles. Lots of fruit and fresh juices too along ...
