... to say we pulled right out of there and realized our mistake about 5 minutes down the road. A much nicer place with a spot on the river. The only downside is the fact that the campsites are so close together you feel like you are right on top of each other. Nevertheless we decided to stay for 2 nights to take a break from the long drives, and to explore the mountains and get some hiking in before we get too fat. Oh, and we managed to NOT eat at any fast food joints ...

Our plane is already at the gate when we arrive at the airport so it looks like we will leave on schedule. After a drink in the lounge it is time to board the Dreamliner. It is kind of cloudy when flying over the Rockies, ...

... I'm a bit disappointed. Some loud mouth girl swearing over a microphone doesn't really do it for me. Place itself was ok, not many people there and it's 10:30pm, so I guess that's says enough. We had 1 drink and left. Found another little bar a couple of blocks away, El Chapultepec, played good bluesy jazz. Left there and started walking down the street when along comes a bike bar. Bike bars are a bar where up to ...

... was really cool because it was something we had never done, but after a while we got too cold and had to go home. We drove back home and Donovan and Kinsey built Legos while I did some coloring. Then we had a really nice Christmas dinner, we had a brisket with cranberry sauce. Then we had a really super nice chocolate log roll for desert and went to ...
