I always think "What I'm Packing" lists are so useful - I love reading other people's. even better would be the "What I wished I had packed (but forgot to) ..." and "Things I packed, but never used or wore!" Let's hope my "What I'm Packing" list is so good that I have nothing to write on the other two! So - here goes:

        6 technical T shirts
        2 technical vests
        2 merino long sleeved tops
        1 roll neck sweater
        5 long sleeved technical tops
        Waterproof jacket in pouch

Astrid had already won a pair of sunglasses in a spin the wheel (free) competition outside, and we had some strange gnomes donated by 'King Sooper' (a supermarket chain) based on one of the players.

I asked lots of questions to the people sitting nearby, just so I could understand the scoreboard. A quick rundown of what I learned:

Well, I just returned from more than six months in Asia. What to do next?

Before I left for my long trip I gave up my small man cave of a studio apartment to go fully nomadic again (it would have been some expensive storage space). So what to do now?

I had considered traveling for longer in Asia but got word while I was away that conditions have deteriorated further with my elderly parents with my father ...

        The Seventh Day (Denver)

A travel blog entry by isabellerose13 on Dec 25, 2013

We were woken up early because it was Christmas morning. I went upstairs and saw what I had in my stocking. I got some lip balm, a scarf, a Starbucks card and some chocolates. Then after breakfast we went to open our other gifts, I got a magazine subscription, a hair straightener, a pandora bead and an iTunes voucher. Then I went on a walk with Mum ...
