... first class British Airways booths... I am going to have to treat myself to one of those someday. What a way to travel! They looked so comfortable. I've always wondered why people pay so much for the typical first class where you get a slightly larger seat. If you're gonna pay extra, those first class booths are the way to go!

Plane food... nasty. However, I am pleased to report that the drinks are still free, unlike many US domestic flights these days.

... dinner. All the place served was hamburgers or cheeseburgers (American cheese only) – that was it. No fries, no nothing else. They were great burgers. While we were there we caught a glimpse of a fiery sunset – just gorgeous.

... Economy Class is oversold by one, for a total of two seats open on the plane. I’m still third on the SA list, but the only standby who’s checked in so far. I’m also the only person checked in so far on the upgrade list. The seat map shows four BF seats open: 1K, 3L, 4L, and 5B. Fingers crossed one of them has my name on it!

If not, I’ll overnight at DEN again and try for Wednesday’s flight, which is currently showing 15 BF seats open and I’d be #8.

First we had a delicious brunch at Linger. Then, we went to the Denver Botanic Gardens to see the Japanese garden where Sue volunteers. There was a bonsai exhibit that weekend which was just amazing. Then, we finished up at the Denver Art Museum. We saw a great textile exhibit and a really wild and crazy exhibit made of buttons. Came home to a relaxing ...
