Scheduled for departure on 8/8/14 and this time we're off to Prague to begin our first visit to the more eastern reaches of Europe.

... eating lunch, we ended up sharing our picnic table with two ladies from Canada, one in her late 50's who was a former Air Traffic Controller, the other her daughter, who is currently a commuter pilot flying Beech 1900s in British Columbia. They were there for the Women in Aviation activities, although they had just missed the annual group photo when it was taken early. ... conditioning. I was able to pick the bike all loaded up back up by myself. The heaviest thing I've lifted has been 100 lbs. In particular, I've been doing the Simple and Sinister workout by Pavel Tsatsuline. This regime was excellent prep for having the core strength to be on the bike for 8-10 hours a day for days on end. Not to mention the agility, legs, etc to scramble around on the Tablelands.
