... we had to change planes as when they disconnected the place the maintenance people wrecked our systems so we had to change planes. Landed in New York at 12:30 and caught a taxi to our hotel. ... OK, I guess. Some nice Roman stuff, some good Greek stuff ... but not as much or as good as what is in the Met in New York ... and some quite reasonable Remingtons (Wild West-y paintings and bronzes ... quite famous). Also a fairly good collection of Impressionists.
Lots and lots of 'Modern' and 'Contemporary' so-called 'Art' ... basically modern **** ... but here are some photos of Chagall's 'American Windows' for Jen ... and some Remingtons for the rest of you.
