      ... museums in the U.S. are geared toward children. Also, every museum I've been to has had at least one train in it. I've been fascinated learning about the rail system of the U.S. and how it has transformed over the last two centuries because I'm now taking what remains of that system to facilitate my travel across the country.

      ... to walk rather than using public transport as the weather was still very pleasant. We spent the afternoon sorting out our suitcases for the trip back home, making sure the weight was spread evenly between the bags that we would be checking in.       ... aeroplane was an Embraer ERJ 145, where they have a 1-2 seat configuration, and anyone over five foot eight needs to duck to walk around. The flight attendant was great, and had that wonderful cheeriness and excellent customer service that is so common with regional flight attendants.

      ... until he started to lose his voice. Once we started closing in on Chicago, the traffic got pretty intense. It took an hour and a half to travel less than 20 miles, but we eventually made it to the apartment of my cousins, Mike and Karen.
