... to the mall next door for lunch, then checked into our hotel. We were very pleased to see it was a huge improvement on the room we had last night. Luxurious actually. We are currently sitting on the first couch in 5 weeks (other than at Julie's in Vancouver) and not only that, we are watching sport on TV in a room separate from the beds.

At 3:45 am we awoke to pack the car and get Andrew ready for the next leg of our journey. We pulled out of the Lozzi clan's Charlotte house at 4:45 am and we were on the road again.

So today was a day that Bec said I could plan and run however I wanted seeing that we were in Nascar Country. So first port of call was the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Whilst it is a massive place that dwarfs the country side around it, we didn't stay here too long.
