... first time a Queen had entered the premises; 'Queen Elsa'. As luck would have it, we were able to eat outside and there was a little stage next to our table. Yes, Queen Elsa and her very best pal Queen Sara from Spain put together a few impromptu performances. Luckily most of the guests were interested in the football screens.
Our final drive in the US tomorrow takes us to Atlanta in Georgia.
Cheers, the Berrys
... country churches, cotton plantations, small communities and at times rather large houses, dense tree lined interstate roads, numerous fast food, attorney and accommodation signs along the way. We haven't mentioned this before but if you ever need an attorney in the US and don't know one, just drive a mile up any interstate and you will have a wide collection of numbers to call!
We arrived in Charlotte ...
After we got back on the road, I conducted an interview via Skype on my phone while Jeff drove and Andrew played and slept.
Around 3 pm, we pulled into Granpop and Grammy's house and Andrew got to meet his other Grandma for the first time. What a treat!
We got to see Aunt Jana for a bit and then we all called it a night very early since it had been such a long day.
... br> While Andrew didn't enjoy his dinner of fresh sweet potatoes and avocado last night, he DID enjoy his prunes tonight! He ate them with the family while we all enjoyed our meal.
Then Andrew enjoyed his bath on the counter top.
Thanks to the Lozzi's for showing us wonderful hospitality!
... to get out that had flights during those 2 + days. I almost left thinking it was hopeless but they always say when you are flying standby "don't ever give up till they close the doors". So I waited and sure enough, I got on and I heard the flight attendant say there were still 3 empty seats on the plane. Amazing! I still can't believe with the mess they had in Charlotte that I was able to get on.
