... willpower. It certainly seems like he could have had another full term in 1964, if it were not for the Vietnam war. The library does a good job of giving you a detailed understanding of LBJ's fervent desire to resolve this issues of Vietnam. Yet, even with all of his experience in building consensus or striking a deal, he was to be disappointed time after time. You could just feel the mounting stress that fully consumed his presidency, and ...

With 12 minutes left to spare we made the final walk thru while waiting for the airport shuttle. If we forgot it it's just going to be forgotten and we'll do without. This has been so stressful. We have 9 50-lb duffels and two carry-ons each. We will be out of WiFi the bulk of the time, ...

... left the next morning to go to Dallas. In Dallas we stayed with the Ggolias for just one night, but it was great. We played in the yard, another family came over, and we slept really soundly. The Ggolias are just such great people. This morning Dad actually left ( yes, again ) to go to Lexington this time for his college reunion. However, we are in Austin, my hometown, now, so we are PSYCHED. 10 days here will fly by, then like 1.5 weeks till home!!!

... but I am not completely convinced since the entire place is covered with outdoor carpeting, that is wet and baking in the sun, probably home to a bazillion bacteria. The only thing I could think of as to why they have the carpeting, was to keep the cement from getting too hot for everyone to walk on. The thing that I loved about the park though was the fact that many of the lazy rivers and pools used river ...
