Well. It's official. I'm am FINALLY going to Sicily! Being able to spend 11 weeks in Sicily is a dream come true and I could not be more excited for it. The reason I will be in Sicily all summer is Camp Adventure, the program I went to Hawaii with last summer. I will be a day camp counselor on an US Navy base there. I had bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast which was free from the hotel. I am sad to see Tennessee in my rearview mirror but I am headed to Atlanta. I drove through the mountains and then stopped for lunch at Chipotle for $9.30. I only ate half and will finish the rest for dinner. I stopped for gas in Atlanta at Chevron for $36.90.

This week begins my days of of appointments and goodbyes that all lead up to me leaving for Jordan. Running errands and picking up last minute items can be a little annoying, but I always like to have all of my stuff together!

Time just seems to be flying! Now I just hope that I'm all packed and ready when it's time to go.

Chicka is the Global Programs Manager for Learning and Development at BCD Travel and our guide through the ATW80 program. During my first phone call with Chicka back in March, I was in Cebu trying to renew my Philippine visa. The reception at the time was particularly dismal, resulting in the ...
