... anyone without some nervousness. Mostly though, I'm excited. I know it's going to be an amazing 4 1/2 months that I'm sure will teach me a lot about myself and will give me experiences of a lifetime.

The day started with a minor flight delay but a short two hour flight into Atlanta for Jared. Natalie was waiting with open arms for a long overdue hug! Our first stop was to the Park Tavern at Piedmont Park. Where we sat under the covered patio by the fire while watching ice skaters try to show off their best moves. We indulged in seasonal spiced beer (brewed right on site), mimosas, and spiced whiskey shots. And ...
... to my good friend Michael Martin. In July I was going to
visit him in Japan, but with his time-off being removed (military related),
which neither of us expected or could control, I was sadly unable to go.
Delta was unable to give a refund on the ticket, but
instead said they could apply the remaining balance, after the cancellation
fee, to another ticket (had to be my name on the boarding pass for it to
apply somewhere else).

For the first couple of days I did bugger all really, which followers of Trystan will also know is a favourite pastime of his. It seems I’m speaking in third person now…my old creative writing tutor would be appalled if he was to read this, which he won’t unless one of you is sick enough to send it to him. Back on topic though, and I ventured out to Atlanta twice during my week. The first time I wandered ...
... So after printing out coupons and trading in points for online gift cards, we were off to buy the girls a ton of **** they don't really need. I was determined to buy a selection of coloring books and puzzles.... It is much easier to bring presents when I drive, I have determined I will just take them shopping when visit via airplane.
It was a successful shopping trip.... many a dollar was spent ...
