While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. During my 8 hour layover in Atlanta, Georgia I decided to go see the Martin Luther King Jr. memorial. He was an amazing person that led the American civil rights movement and changed history for many people with non violence and I wanted to learn more about him rather than in a book or TV show. Seeing this in person is a very different and rewarding experience.
