    While listening to my most favorite song at the moment (Turtle, by Alana Davis), I've realized my trip has BEGUN!!!! It wasn't real until now. I'm sitting at my seat on my way to JFK airport, waiting for my dinner, and I don't really have much to say except that my excitement is finally here. No worrying, no doubting, just excitement. One thing I learned was why it's called pig iron: the molten iron is allowed to flow from the furnace down a channel with little ingot molds coming off it (like regularly spaced driveways on both sides of a street).     After the aquarium closed I went to Restaurant Eugene for dinner. It's one of two Atlanta restaurants on the 101 Best Restaurants in America list compiled by The Daily Meal web site, coming in at number 66.

    I got the five-course vegetarian tasting menu plus the optional farm egg course. I had a pleasant meal. After dinner I headed back to my friend's house for the night.
