Today is the last day of the Conference and our last full day in Atlanta. Drive to Orlando tomorrow to join the cruise on the 11th. I left the hotel early and caught the shuttle bus to the Martin Luther King Jnr Historic site. It included the Ebeneza Baptist Church that his father and he were ministers. The church was the centre of his civil rights work. His wife, after his assassination, took over and continued his amazing work for peace ...

I woke up early, packed my bags, and said goodbye to Adam. I was off to Georgia to get my Harley shirt and see the Bellwood Quarry. I stopped at Hellbender Harley Davidson in Marietta first. I was wearing my Yuengling shirt and one of the workers said, "We've got a Pennsylvania girl with her Yuengling shirt! What brings ya down here?" I told him about my road trip and my bucket list (visit 48 states before I'm 30). We chatted a bit and then I got a tank top and a shot ...

... back to the hotel for dinner. The dinners during the week were decent although some of them were making people sick. It was nice though, eating with different groups of people, finding out about their projects. I was one of the few people who didn't know what the heck I was doing. I knew I was working in social services for the Latino American population in SC but I didn't know the specifics. So when people asked me I could only respond with that or "I really have ...
