      On the road home

A travel blog entry by dkauten on Feb 15, 2015

Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. Can't believe how much we've seen and all the places that we've been in the last 26 days. I will certainly view so many of the places we've visited with a different set of eyes and opinions ...

She also made me feel more comfortable as I was having a hard time getting use to the breathing and pressurizing at first. Then there's White Haven Beach. The sand on White Haven is almost all silicon. The grains are so fine, that you can literally wash your hair, exfoliate your skin and brush your teeth! Free spa day in Straya? Yes please! I have been trying to prepare myself to go broke for nearly a month now, so hey, it looks like I'll be doing a great job at that!

Traveling is the one occasion where I can really be totally calm. I always feel like with traveling, ...

... We've been talking about going to pick fruits at a farm for a while no, but never seemed to get around to it. On Friday night we sat down and did a bit of online research to find farms that allow the general public to pick fruit. We narrowed down our area to Blue Ridge, Georgia-- a city in Northwest Georgia that is close to the state lines of Alabama and Tennessee. On Saturday morning we set out with all intentions of heading out to the farm we had chosen, but due to ...

      Waiting For The Plane

A travel blog entry by eyeluv2trvl on May 05, 2014

I waited for my departure for about two hours.
I originally was to leave Tuesday but the airlines had to reschedule my flight because the original one was canceled or something. I am still not clear on why. This meant I would have to stay in Brussels for 24 hours without ...
