... Sunday, we finally were able to wake up early enough to make the two and a half hour drive up to Blue Ridge where we picked apples at Mercier Orchards. Mercier while mainly an orchard, produces lots of other fruits! We missed the blackberry and blueberry picking seasons and in May they have strawberry picking (hopefully we'll be back to do that later).
