The weather was good heading north...missed most of the rain that was predicted on Monday...but boy did we hit a lot of bugs in Georgia. Our windshield was practically covered! Then, when the rain hit, Richard was hesitant to turn in the wipers...thought we'd have a blinding mess...but it was fine. We stayed in Wytheville, VA last night and got a good start this morning.

... I'm more worried about the altitude sickness more than anything because there really isn't much you can do to prevent it. I've read up on it and have been taking Ginkgo, antioxidants and garlic pills plus drinking lots of water. We shall see:) So that's the breakdown. ... to sleep through most of the flying, that way I can stay awake and begin to adjust to the time difference once we get there. It's 15 hours! It'll be interesting to see how long it takes to adjust. Luckily we have 5 days before orientation to get adjusted, that way we can be awake when we're learning how to navigate the campus that will be our home for the next 4 months!
